SSK Pune: Literacy day - साक्षरता दिन

Education is an important aspect of JBGVS' work. Recently on the occasion of Literacy Day, an awareness session was conducted for members of SSK, Pune. शिक्षण हे जेबीजीव्हीएसच्या कामाचे एक महत्वाचे अंग आहे. अलीकडेच पुण्याच्या एसएसके मध्ये सभासदांसाठी एक जागृती सत्र आयोजित करण्यात आले.

SSK Wardha: Modak competition - मोदक स्पर्धा

Like in the rest of Maharashtra, Ganeshotsav is widely celebrated in Wardha as well. On the occasion, JBGVS' SSK Wardha had organized a novel Modak Competition where the member ladies tried their hand in culinary skills - महाराष्ट्रातील अन्य भागांप्रमाणेच वर्ध्यातही गणेशोत्सव मोठ्या उत्साहात साजरा होतो. या निमित्ताने जेबीजीव्हीएसच्या वर्धा एसएसके तर्फे नाविन्यपूर्ण अशी मोदक बनवणे स्पर्धा आयोजित करण्यात आली

Women's social empowerment - स्त्रियांचे सामाजिक सबलीकरण

JBGVS believes that along with economic empowerment, women should also be empowered socially. The women staff of JBGVS and its SSK from Pune recently participated in an all women Aarti organized by Lokmat newspaper on the occasion of Ganpati festival. They were felicitated on the occasion wearing Puneri Pagdi - महिलांच्या आर्थिक सबलीकरणा सोबतच त्यांचे सामाजिक सबलीकरण सुद्धा झाले पाहिजे असे जेबीजीव्हीएस मानते. अलीकडेच गणेशोत्सवा निमित्त लोकमत तर्फे आयोजित महिलांनी केलेल्या आरती उपक्रमात पुण्यातील जेबीजीव्हीएस व त्याचे एसएसके येथील महिलांनी भाग घेतला. या प्रसंगी पुणेरी पगडी घालून त्यांना गौरवण्यात आले.
